New NHL Rules for this season

It’s almost time to start another regular season!  However, before the first puck is dropped, fans should get a look at the new rules that will be called this season.  This includes new the new head shot rules that were implemented in the middle of last season.

NHL to implement new tie-breaking rule this season

This is separate from the new on ice rules this season in that this is an end of the season tie-breaking rule for determining playoff positioning.  In short, shootout wins will no longer be counted when determining playoff positioning.
