NEW YORK – The NHL Announced this week that the 2010 NHL All-Star Game was awarded to the Ottawa Senators. NHL All-Star Weekend will take place January 28th and 29th, 2010. This is the first time that the Senators have hosted an All-Star game.

“The league is extremely pleased that Ottawa and Scotiabank Place will be home to the events of All-Star weekend 2012,” said Gary Bettman, NHL commissioner in a prepared statement. “Ottawa and the Senators have distinguished themselves in hosting the Stanley Cup Final and two NHL entry drafts, and I have no doubt they will provide an outstanding welcome for our fans, guests, media and business partners.”

More details about the All-Star Game will be released at a later date, including ticket information.

The 2011 All-Star Game will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina on January 29th and January 30th.
