Coyotes Morris and Nash to take part in Nicky’s Week at RA Sushi
Phoenix Coyotes defenseman Derek Morris and Coyotes Radio and Television color analyst Tyson Nash will take part in RA Sushi’s ‘Nicky’s Week’ festivities on Wednesday June 2nd from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM to help raise funds for St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Morris and Nash will participate in a ‘Bartending Battle’ (not sure what exactly that entails) and see if they can raise a ton of money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
According to the RA Website, this is how the Nicky’s Week festivities started:
Nicky’s Week was developed in memory of longtime St. Jude patient Nicholas “Nicky” Mailliard, of Scottsdale, Ariz., who lost a long battle with brain cancer in February 2005 at the young age of 13. A nephew of one of RA Sushi’s founders, Nicky holds a special place in the hearts of RA Sushi employees throughout the organization and will be forever missed. RA Sushi initiated the fundraiser in May 2005 to honor the memory of Nicky and help raise awareness and funds for St. Jude who played a huge role in Nicky’s life. Since the introduction of Nicky’s Week, RA Sushi with the help from guests has raised over $500,000 for St. Jude.

We started this site to meet the growing demand by Coyotes fans in their need for Coyotes News. We do things a bit differently here. We don\'t provide the canned articles you would find on most other sites. We provide analysis, news, and information with a bit of attitude. EDITORIAL MISSION: We let the other guy handle the box scores and stuff like that. We fill in the gaps in coverage....and trust me there are lots of gaps in local coverage that need to be filled.
