One of the premiere events on the hockey schedule this year is the Memorial Cup Tournament which pits the champions of the three leagues that make up the Canadian Hockey League (Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) and the team from the host city, Brandon, Manitoba. From May 14th to the 23rd, the best of North American Junior Hockey will battle for the ultimate prize…..the Memorial Cup.
For those of you who follow NHL prospects, this is probably the best look you will have at live championship caliber hockey before these players make it to the NHL.
All games from the Memorial Cup will be shown LIVE on the NHL Network (US Only)!!
Coverage starts May 14th at 7:00 PM.
The Tournament will feature Coyotes defensman prospect Ryan Stone of the Calgary Hitmen.
Here’s a great write-up about Ryan Stone from Hockey’s Future:

We started this site to meet the growing demand by Coyotes fans in their need for Coyotes News. We do things a bit differently here. We don\'t provide the canned articles you would find on most other sites. We provide analysis, news, and information with a bit of attitude. EDITORIAL MISSION: We let the other guy handle the box scores and stuff like that. We fill in the gaps in coverage....and trust me there are lots of gaps in local coverage that need to be filled.
