Phoenix Coyotes Hockey on AZ Vibe

Your Source for Coyotes Hockey

Los Angeles Kings v Phoenix Coyotes

There has been some confusion among Coyotes fans as to where and how Game 4 of the Phoenix Coyotes/Detroit Red Wings series will appear on TV this afternoon.

As of right now here’s the most up to date information:

- Game 4 will be simulcast on Fox Sports Arizona and Fox Sports Arizona Plus starting at 3:30 PM Arizona time. Yes, you read that right. The game will be broadcast on both channels. The Channel listings for FSNAZ+ is at the bottom of this article.

- Regardless of what your cable/satellite receiver says is on FSNAZ/FSNAZ+ at 3:30 PM today, the Coyotes game WILL be shown on both Fox Sports Arizona and Fox Sports Arizona Plus. You are to ignore your cable/satellite receiver’s schedules because Game 4 will preempt everything that was previously scheduled at that time.

- Here’s how Game 4 should work for people inside and outside the state of Arizona in regards to NHL Center Ice and NHL Gamecenter (aka NHL Center Ice Online) blackouts:

The Game should be blacked out on NHL Gamecenter (aka NHL Center Ice Online) in the state of Arizona and in Canada. It should be available live on Gamecenter in all 49 states outside the state of Arizona. The game should be available on NHL Center Ice in the US (outside the state of Arizona) as well as Versus is not carrying the game. The game is on TSN in Canada which means it’s blacked out on NHL Center Ice in Canada.

FSNAZ has exclusive rights to game 4 of the Coyotes/Red Wings series in the State of Arizona

- Fox Sports Arizona will begin their broadcast of the Phoenix Suns/Portland Trailblazers pre-game show Suns Live at 6:30 PM.

- At the regulation conclusion of the Coyotes/Red Wings game, Fox Sports Arizona Plus will show the Arizona Diamondbacks/St. Louis Cardinals live from Chase Field. Coverage will start at 6:30 PM on Fox Sports Arizona Plus. Please note there will not be a Diamondbacks pre-game show today.

Now for the big question….

What happens if the Coyotes/Red Wings game goes to overtime?

Fox Sports Arizona is contractually obligated to televise the Suns pre-game show, Suns Live, at 6:30 PM and will cut away from the game (if it’s still in progress) on Fox Sports Arizona just before 6:30 PM. Viewers on Fox Sports Arizona will be told to switch over to Fox Sports Arizona Plus for the remainder of the game.

The entire Phoenix Coyotes/Detroit Red Wings game will be shown, uninterrupted, on Fox Sports Arizona Plus.

Here’s the most up to date listings on where you can find Fox Sports Arizona Plus:

We started this site to meet the growing demand by Coyotes fans in their need for Coyotes News. We do things a bit differently here. We don\'t provide the canned articles you would find on most other sites. We provide analysis, news, and information with a bit of attitude. EDITORIAL MISSION: We let the other guy handle the box scores and stuff like that. We fill in the gaps in coverage....and trust me there are lots of gaps in local coverage that need to be filled.
