A tired team + a tired team = 1st in the Pacific?!?! – Coyotes 3 – Dallas 2 (SO)
Well, as we stated in the pregame article, the Phoenix Coyotes were a tired team playing back to back games coming into this game with Dallas. What we didn’t know/tell you was that the Stars were on the tail end of a 6 game home stand who were also playing in back to back games. Both teams out of the gate were sluggish.
Come to think of it the officiating wasn’t all that sharp either as they seemed to change what was a penalty and what wasn’t practically every five minutes.
Anyways, this was a game that was decided by who could muster up the most energy to make the fewest mistakes.
There’s really not much else to tell here. It was a hard fought, tight battle by two tired teams.
Game Notes
- The Coyotes are in sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division and second in the Western Conference due to tie breakers

We started this site to meet the growing demand by Coyotes fans in their need for Coyotes News. We do things a bit differently here. We don\'t provide the canned articles you would find on most other sites. We provide analysis, news, and information with a bit of attitude. EDITORIAL MISSION: We let the other guy handle the box scores and stuff like that. We fill in the gaps in coverage....and trust me there are lots of gaps in local coverage that need to be filled.
