For the first time this season a Phoenix Coyotes player that is not named Ilya Bryzgalov has been named one of the NHL three stars of the week.
Coyotes Captain Shane Doan was named the NHL’s first star for the week of February 1, 2010 behind a three goal and six assist effort. In addition, the Coyotes were 4-0-0 during the past week.
