The Sharks came into the Jobing.com arena Saturday night for what was yet another close and tight battle. From the opening faceoff the Coyotes held the high powered offense to only one goal thanks to the incredible discipline in all three zones (Defensive, Offensive, Neutral).

The only thing that kept this game from being probably the perfect Coyotes game this season (and Bryzgalov’s league leading 5th shutout of the season) was a HORRIBLE penalty from Coyotes defenseman James Vandermeer in the third that put the Coyotes at a 4-3 disadvantage. The Sharks practically scored instantly on the faceoff following Vandermeer going off to the Penalty box.

Don’t be suprised if Vandermeer spends the next game in Tippett’s doghouse.

This game also saw the emergence of two aspects of the Coyotes on the ice:

1) Chemistry on lines – All the forward lines of the Coyotes are starting to show signs of developing chemistry.
2) Offense adding more dimensions – The Coyotes have been adding more and more dimensions to their Offensive Play (Power Play included)

These two combinations are going to make the Coyotes extremely dangerous down the road.
