Got lots of stuff to cover!  Coyotes are off until Saturday where they will be taking on the Ducks.  It won’t be on FSNAZ so you’ll have to go to the bars or someplace with Center Ice.

Jovanovski injured – Schlemko called up from San Antonio

First off, for those of you who saw the game last night know that Coyotes Defenseman Ed Jovanovski left the game in the third period with what was later diagnosed as a sprained ankle. The Coyote have called up 24 year old defenseman Shaun Heshka from San Antonio. This is the 3rd player to be called up from San Antonio since the 3rd of this month The Two others who were called up are Mikkel Boedker and (David Schlemko who is playing for injured D-Man Zbynek Michalek).

Bryz named NHL’s 3rd Star for the Month of October.

Ilya Bryzgalov was named NHL’s third star for the Month of October. Bryzgalov’s numbers for the month of October was an 8-3-0 record with a 1.78 goals against average and Three shutouts. These three shutouts came against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the San Jose Sharks and St. Louis Blues.

Hanzal and Prucha to appear at the Ice Den in North Scottsdale

Coyotes forwards Martin Hanzal and Petr Prucha (along with Howler) will be on hand at the Ice Den in North Scottsdale on Tuesday November 10th from 6 to 7 PM.  Coyotes fans can take pictures with the players and have them sign autographs for you.  The event will also mark the Grand Opening of two new restaurants 18° Neighborhood Grill and Over Easy North.

Fans of the Food Network might recognize Over Easy North from the show ‘Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives’.  Over Easy is mainly a breakfast place that serves up huge portions of delicious and gourmet breakfasts…at a good price.

Phoenix Coyotes Downloadable Schedule

For those of you who use Calendar applications (like Outlook or Google Calendar) you can download the Phoenix Coyotes 2009-2010 schedule to your desktop and be alerted whenever a game is coming up on the horizon.  There are multiple options for download so everyone can have a copy.  Check it out!

Must Have NHL Podcast Link

I have over 40 different NHL related Podcasts on my computer and try to keep up on the goings on around the league as best as I can.  From this collection I’m going to post some of them every now and then for you to check out.

If you are a fan of the game as well as a fan of the Coyotes, it’s always good to keep an eye on what goes on around the league.

The first podcast I’m going to post is the NHL Conference Calls Podcast.  Whenever the NHL has conference calls to the North American Hockey Media, they put them in mp3 format for fans to download and listen to.  Topics of the Conference calls range from player interviews, suspensions, playoffs, big events, and so on.
